flying a Cirrus SR20 from Belgium to Malta VFR

UK to Malta and back

I flew from UK to Malta through the Alps and down through Italy VFR then back via Sardinia, Olbia, Cannes and Troyes in a Robin DR400.

Coming back was much easier but did involve a long Sea...

It is only the Major Maintenance on the Spitfires and Hurricanes, not all the maintenace. ARCo have done a couple of Spits and Hurricanes for us previously.

You must have done a good job as she was only rewired in the 90s. We have just had a wiring survey done as part of the ageing aircraft audit with no major issues.

It doesn't get a Major every year. It gets a Major every 8 years. It has an annual at the end of each summer season. The Major used to be every 6 years but it has just undergone a schedule review...
