White paint is less expensive because colors usually, maybe even always have to be custom mixed according to each airline's exact corporate logo...

Could it be this? Its an Uzbekistan Airways Antonov-12. Some have huge diagonal blue stripes that go from the tail to the forward fuselage. Those wings do look skinny.

actually a jet engine is just a fan, a compressor, combustion chamber and a turbine. the air in the combustion chamber is supplied by the compressor, so there is no head.
