SMS

Have had a query re SMS. How much is it a requirement of various Government organisations and is it monitored by the relevant civil aviation departments ?

ICAO Mandated

Yes. SMS Is mandated by ICAO and includes Civil Aviation Authorities and Operators under its surveillance.

The CAA is monitored by ICAO USOAP audits and Operators are inspected at regular intervals by their CAA.
