Contrails - how do I predict them?

I am an artist currently researching contrails to make a new video work. Does anyone have any information regarding how i might predict when contrails are likely to occur so that I can organise a filming schedule

Only one thread on a topic at the one time, please ...

Well if no-one else will answer - try speking to a military pilot. I've never understood why but mil people sometimes want to avoid leaving them behind their aircraft!

There are tables of atmospheric conditions that show contrail levels available.
