IOSA/LOSA audits
hey all,
Can anybody shed some light on IOSA/LOSA auditing, particularly in the US. Are these conducted in house by airlines and companies or are there third party firms that conduct such audits. If so, can anybody point in the right direction? regards |
University of Texas. Most of the observing is done in house, but overseen by them. Final data analysis also done by them/

Does U of Texas also conduct LOSA training for air operators?
Thanks. |
As far as I am aware they do. LOSA was originally designed for Air Operators.

Does the IOSA program cover pilot training?
Hi,
I recently saw the following article which shows that Turkish Airlines completed the IOSA program this year: http://www.turkishairlines.com/en-int/co… Does passing this mean that the issues brought up in the below article are now addressed for THY? ? Pilots: Do not fly Turkish Airlines | EuropeNews I flew with Turkish before between Dublin and Istanbul and they were very good but I remember the pilots having very poor English. I am asking all this as I may be going to Uzbekistan next year and Turkish offer the only 1 stop connection between Dublin and Tashkent. I "survived" them before (?!) but would have safety concerns flying with them again if the second article is to be believed. So are all problems addressed with passing the IOSA program? Many Thanks, Brian. |

IOSA audits are conducted by one of 8 auditing firms approved by IATA. You can find the information on their website here:
