Thomson Airways new safety demo video?

hmmm, yes its funny but...
Thomson Airways safety video superb - Quirky Stuff Forum - AirSpace

just seen this clip ,
i don't know if its been posted on pprune before,
i did a search but nowt came up...
so forgive me if its been done already.Mods can delete or move it if they think its been done lol.

i hated Virgin's cartoon safety demo, totally unacceptable imho for a blue-chip carrier,
and now, albeit a very funny one from Thomson, i am not sure if it is professional enough for me,
yes, it makes you laff but so does BBC TV's 'outnumbered' programme.
(watch that its funny too)

Thomson is a holiday airline of course, but i am not sure if this is a best approach personally.
that's just my 2pence anyways.

I flew with TOM as a pax over the summer, and thought the demo was quite 'cute', and it certainly got the attention of more pax then normal.

However, on reflection, I realized I was concentrating on the film (cute kids) and not the message (this is how to put on the oxygen mask). So I'm not too sure as to how good it really as.

[Disclaimer: I'm TOM flight crew]

Excellent video

I do always watch the announcements but here's hoping some of the "no it all" passengers who normally ignore will be encouraged to watch at least some of it.

Safety Demo

Excellent idea to get more attention.
