Safety Link – safety alerts

See a good safety link for issues relating to ATC and crew.
Safety cannot be left to chance!
Also see the side links to Human Factors and SMS items.

The level-bust tool kit is also very good (side link bottom right hand side); you can either run it on-line or order the free CD.
Direct link here.

Supplement to CAP 413 (UK R/T procedures) - issued 08 May 2007
I guess I'm a known pedant, but in the emergency section the foreign-sounding gent in BigJet345 is told to expect an ILS runway 27 at Metro, but gets vectored to intercept the Localizer for 09. Hmm.
But then again my three career Maydays were nothing to write home about either ( i.e. unencapsulated fiascos).
