Heard of a Monrach A300 in PMI with engine failue after t/off today, any more news?

Dunno what happened, but replacement engine winging it's way over sometime today. Replacement was dropped from sistership last night in Luton.

Triple surge on L/H Eng on Climb-out ex PMI.

Landed back at PMI without shutting Eng down (idle power)

Think it was G-MAJS anyway. Taken MON a while to find a replacement plane, the a/c was meant to fly to Goa from MAN saturday, passengers only took off last night, 48 hours late.

Not surprised. MONS is in for a scheduled C check - should be back in the air on Thursday. MONR was in for a scheduled A check which went tits-up when they NDT'd RIB 5 on both wings - should be back in the air by Thursday. So only OJMR flying. And if OJMR got jealous of the other 3.........
