Skynet launch date for SNN services
 

News that Skynet the new airline formed with Russian connections to operate services initially ex SNN airport, will be officially launched on December 20th at the Russian embassy in Dublin. No details to hand on routes ,aircraft type etc. as yet.

Further update, Skynet plans may involve services via DUB to Warsaw and Moscow using B737 aircraft. Startup date likely to be april 2002

Has anyone who e-mailed a CV, been contacted for pilot interviews yet?

Well Billy, things seem to be moving along. Their website www.skynetair.nethas some form of response to that. They've made a few appointments already and are looking for cabin crew now. Fingers crossed all round.

Is Skynet trading as Millenium Airlines? They too are going to be based in SNN. I got a bit of rude reply in connection with a meeting they had planned for me !!!

Absolutely no connection whatsoever.... well except for the word "Airline". These are thoroughly decent chaps altogether.
