Pilot input to security

As someone who spends most of their life nightstopping, I am of the opinion that many control posts themselves do not meet the required standard (LIN, FCO spring to mind). Although the crew themselves are unlikely to be involved in the terrorist action, these posts are also used by the airport workers.
Maybe we should start reporting these places to Company security managers/balpa/ifalpa and on this board???

Having tried to stay out of all discussions about this attack against the freedom of all democratic countries and people, I feel the need to jump in here.
If you ever, and this was the case also before black Tuesday, felt or feel that security or safety is compromised in any way, do report this to your appropriate company department, failing to have one in smaller outfits, do report to the respective CAA.
Also I am completely supporting adequate safety measurements, we need to avoid at all costs that over-reaction and hasty decisions lead to a totally Police controlled environment.
I am sure that there are people in all airlines sitting and listening to proper suggestions and if feasible and possible, some of these ideas may become reality.
Let's start with the passenger side and kick-off the excess hand-luggage.....
