A domestic flight for IST to ANK apparently an A310 some VIP inside. Greek airfonce is following the situation by using a pair of F-16. |

BBC reporting aircraft has landed in Athens after initially being refused and negotiations have begun with the hijacker(s). They had originally wanted to refuel and fly to Berlin.

Good result. Fortunate they weren't redirected to the US, the plane would have been nicked and sold off at auction :(
