Bummer for the guys working there, but...

After quitting Cherry Air to go to KittyHawk, and subsequently being fired, for some B.S. reason, during FE ground school, I can't say I'm sad for the managers. Now THEY are out of a job, and hopefully someone they fired for a B.S. reason will interview them for their next position.

Aviation is a small world...

Your friend is probably part of the 60 furloughs that the company had announced last week. They are coming in three stages beginning mid August. The rumor at KHA is that a trustee has been appointed by the bankruptcy court to oversee operations; bad news considering a trustee is usually appointed to run the company prior to liquidation. Still nothing official.

How many pilots does KH have left after the Kallitta AIA scam a couple of years ago?
