Jet2 flight diverted due to potable water issue

Is this real?

A spokeswoman for Jet2 confirmed that the flight had been diverted to Manchester Airport due to a lack of water for teas and coffee.

Agreed, be in the Mail for lack of water, or for the absolute state of the toilets after a 5 hour flight without any water. Lose lose.

Took a trip on Pan American B.747 from JFK to Paris. The scheduled aircraft had gone U/S so they quick turned an arrival. About an hour out we and they discovered the potable water had not been serviced. Full boat of course. Not a great rest of the trip. The bottled water ran out of course, people were washing with canned tonic and colas.
Thank heavens they had dumped and service the lavatories. Years before I saw/smelled got almost ill at another operator's Super Connie that had flown a MAC charter from Europe. Apparently they had not serviced them over there. Almost indescribable what those lavs looked like.

Glad the fire services were present, presumably to hose down the toilets?
