Such cases are already covered under current law. That would be "unlawful discharge of a firearm."

There is the problem of what happens to the 4kg drone at 800 ft when it is disabled. My guess is that it falls at a reasonable speed onto traffic on the nearby highway.

However isn't the effective range of a 12 Bore Shotgun just 50 yards at most.
