Had to laugh at the Daily Record's attempt to concoct a story from this. we all know the B757 has no crew rest, but surprised at Learmount's comments, unless he's been misquoted.

When the flight is operated with an augmented crew (3 flight crew members), and if there is no crew bunk, the pilots will rest in a passenger seat. However for what I have seen and know, normally this seat should be curtained off from the rest of the cabin in order to be able to have a somewhat undisturbed rest and it prevents upsetting SLF that believe there's only one pilot left up front.

FWIW there even a few ‘wide bodies “ around that sometimes are operated with augmented crew and which don’t have enclosed/separate crew rest facilities. In that case rest may be taken in a normal passenger seat, no special screening.
This is a non-story.
