Try this:
Delta flight from Detroit evacuated upon landing in Denver after smoke reported on plane Seems they had smoke in the cabin after landing (during taxi), not in flight, and evacuated on the taxiway. |
"Right! Who's going to jump first?"
|
From this link, I read a passenger comment that made me scratch my head :
"The oxygen masks never came down and people began to freak out," D.J. Semenza told CNN. "The crew tried to keep calm and eventually called for an evacuation." (I'll be happy to be educated/corrected if I misunderstand). |

Some evacuation video here:
|
My favourite part of that video is when the guy at the bottom helping other passengers just launches a suitcase 10ft out the way and it lands with a satisfyingly hard thump. (about the 55 sec mark).

Congratulations! You’ve just been exposed to organophosphates. (chemically identical to pesticides and warfare agents) |

The most unenthusiastic evacuation I have ever seen. Obviously little motivation to get off. |
