It is not often that I have any kind words for Mr O'Leary, however I am 100% with him on this. Two caveats,

a) The source is the Daily Wail, and
b) I am making a generous assumption that O'Leary is not blowing his usual hot air.

Maybe the UK pilots employed representing almost 100 of Ryanair’s 400+ current aircraft fleet and over 25% of Ryanair’s pilot body?

Ryanair shareholders won't allow him to do this. Its just one man trying to use his position to subvert the democratic wishes of the majority.

Oh please Mr O’Leary, show us that we have been lied to and ground your flights. And please can I have an end to nasty cheap holidays. I don’t want one one and those who go on them clog up the sky. So no cheap flights, no nasty pollution from these flights and empty quiet skies. What is there not to like? Sounds perfect to me.

And if I had realised that voting for Brexit might ground RYR flights, I would have spent even more time spreading the “leave” message.

This is nothing to do with Brexit.

He has a chronic pilot shortage which will ground a huge chunk of the airline anyway as the summer schedule starts. He is looking for a "something else" that he can point the finger at, to avoid the embarrassment. Union strikes, Brexit, tax, leave, lunar cycle... Anything but the truth.

MOL suffers from Excessive Attention Seeking and Drama Addiction. He hasn't really been in the headlines all that frequently of late. From this latest outburst I can only deduce that his medication is no longer effective, or he hasn't been taking it!

Yes just like shareholders stopped Mr Joyce from grounding Qantas. Oh that’s right, shareholders can’t do diddly squat.

Just like all the big newspaper owners then using their product to influence their readers to their own ends! How many gullible Daily Mail and Sun readers believe the rubbish they peddle as news. (PS other newspapers are available with similar undemocratic ends)

Great news! Good riddance! :ok:

Without an agreement of some sort between the U.K. and the EU 27, EU airlines such as FR will not be able to operate domestic U.K. flights, or flights between the U.K. and the EU27.

If the most recent U.K. - Eire Air Services Agreement is the default, then they likely could operate U.K. - Eire flights.

But both sides seem prepared to leave such decisions to the last minute.

Oh, if the U.K. doesn’t make a new ASA with the US (and 70 odd other countries) then it could too revert to Bermuda II. Anti-trust exemptions would also expire.

If there was ever a vindication of the democratic decision to Leave then a Britain free of the scourge of Ryanair is surely it!
