Hot Water Attack

I'm not even sure where to begin with this one. As if having boiling water thrown at you isn't enough, uttering threats to blow up the plane AND no charges are laid???

Well in the end it's their business when its all said, argued, reargued, said again and done.

The company makes lots of money on those charters. The CC even the pilots are cheap in comparison. So......

Shouldn't have even made the news. Silly little squabble.

A silly little squabble? Assaulting a member of crew is unacceptable no matter where in the world it happens. The fact that at the moment no action taken is also unacceptable and is therefore very newsworthy.
Aparently (from secondhand quote from a HK newspaper) the Chinese are embarrassed about these tourists and are looking for legal action to be taken, they also want the tour company to be prosecuted for not informing their clients on how to behave! (aledgedly):O

PT6Driver - can only agree.

No small matter for sure.

AirAsia flight attendant scalded with hot water and noodles by Chinese passenger | Daily Mail Online

She should have been banned for life!

I flew for 6 months in the region and came across the following:

A mainlander commiting suicide by strangling himself with his own belt in the forward toilet. Next flight/sector was mine! :\

In the region of USD20,000 found dumped in the toilet.

A family of pax stealing bits of the aircraft as compensation for delays.

Flying in China is not for the faint hearted.

I'll tell you why no charges were laid, because Air Asia (like most western governments and the Vatican these days) are too scared to upset the Chinese people or Government .... $$$ is $$$.

Asiana have lost most of their mainland passengers since they killed a few schoolgirls slamming into a seawall in perfect VMC. Malaysian have lost nearly all of their mainland china customers after a 777 goes off dumped into the sea somewhere.

Air Asia are trying desperately to get into the mainland market and don't want to upset their nouveau riche farmer passengers.

4 Chinese Tourists Reportedly Blacklisted After Hot Water Attack On Flight Attendant

Attacks on cabin crew happen in mainland every week and go unreported. Its normal here.

When I saw the bomber boyfriend guys passport page (shown on a chinese website) and he's from Anhui province i laughed, whenever I ask my FO where he's from and he says Anhui, its always in a quiet voice while looking at the the floor. Already ashamed..... it already has a reputation in China.

You guys in Europe and US are in for a treat as these clowns get richer and travel further afield ....

He'd have had a wee slap in the chops and told to sit down and shut it if I was on that flight. People get away with all sorts of petulant behaviour these days because nobody else wants to get involved.
