Aer Lingus pilots on contract to GB Air?

Met a co-pilot today at LGW who said he was an EI 737 co-pilot but couldn't help noticing he was sporting a GB Airways uniform complete with BA Name badge. Apologies if this is old news but is this how EI have dispersed their surplus junior guys? If so how does this fit with GB's recruitment plans?

One EI F/O joined GB about 6 months ago but that was due to him leaving. Certainly, no arrangement exists.

Must have meant ex-EI and not EI. Could have been a good rumour though.

However Excel has taken quite a few EI pilots on contract about 15 or so I heard.

Don't be so quick to quash the rumour-there are definitely more than one EI guy at GB. There is no contract arrangement though, it's a bit more simple than that and I can't go in to it here. Nice one!
