Another sad loss of life within our industry. May they all rest in peace.

Personally, as an AA guy thank you for your condolences.

To put this in perspective, in two months we have lost 6 pilots, 21 flight attendants plus employee pass riders that included a assistant station manager, a retired Captain (he also was a retired USNR Admiral), a PVD gate agent and a secretary with 45 years with our company.

Thousands also have lost their jobs.

It will get better but I don't think there is any paralell in the history of our company.

An AA pilot.

My sincere and deepest condolences to all that were affected by this tragedy.
Another sad day for aviation.

I flew with Sten on the 727 years ago. I remember him as being a good pilot with an uplifting and positive attitude. He will be missed.

Vmike 16th Nov 2001 02:51

A sad day indeed. Forgive my ignorance, but is there not a flight engineer on the A300?

flite idol 16th Nov 2001 03:12

No FE on the A300-600R. Condolences to all those affected.

There is no way to express my feelings in such cases. So silence is best.
