Flapless RYR 737 at Bristol
 

Does anyone have information on what appeared to be a flapless arrival at Bristol by a RYR 737 on Tue 12th Feb around 1700?

The approach was significantly faster than normal with high nose attitude, met by the customary fire trucks. The landing seemed excellent, and it stopped well within the available runway, so a well handled incident from what I saw. :ok:to the crew...

About what you would expect. What else did you need?

I was just wondering when (how?) the problem occurred, and whether Bristol was their intended destination or a selected alternate.

Those 800s seem very reliable, and flap problems are thankfully rare.

It merely piqued my interest, having experienced a flap problem earlier that day...

I see from your profile that you used to fly the BAe 146.

You should threfore be well versed in flapless landings.
