All BA 767s to leave LGW by 28th October 2001. (Winter Schedule).
http://www.bassa.co.uk/news/8.htm Yet again we learn the plan from our Cabin Crew colleagues. It makes a change from the cleaners......! These are troubled times indeed. ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........ [ 01 October 2001: Message edited by: The Zombie ] |
Anyone heard any news on B757 fleet ?
More A/c to go possibly ? |
JB007;
Me thinks it was announced a long time ago, that the B757's were being sold to DHL (?) as freighters :cool: |
Just booked my hols to the Cayman's via LGW, is this going to mean day change or time change?

nice-beaver,
According to the BA website operation news page, as from the 28th October Caymen Island flights are switched to Heathrow from Gatwick. They advise customers to phone their travel agent or BA to confirm that their reservation has been changed. If you are leaving before 28th October then it still departs from Gatwick, after that Heathrow. If you do not leave until next year then they might chnge it back again depending on the situation. Hope this helps |
Looks as though they are swapping the low loads N.American flights out of Heathrow with the higher load Caribbean etc. flights (less American pax.). This will cover the valuable LHR slots until things pick up again.
