More redunacies are planned Rumour has it HLA owe money all over the place One Airbus to be laid off at liege Seems they are keeping the passenger one god knows why.Its seems a very troubled time ahead I get the feeling were all out of a job soon. There is a big division between. .Air foyle/Heavylift and Heavylift proper all the ops staff and comercial are working for Air Foyle Heavylift yes they say its a different comany leaving only the crews and accounts staff left over and a shagged out belfastand 3 Airbuses which are loosing money .Pity it has happened to such a good company

Received my redundancy notice (again) in the mail this morning. Looks as though the're still using the old, flawed selection method when deciding whose for the chop (despite all our misgivings about it). Still first out of this pantomime means better seniority in the next and at least we stand a better chance of being paid back our 15%. Good luck fellow job seekers!

dogsnob 5th Feb 2002 18:56

well that makes two of us now i got mine this morning as well soon we will have enough to start a real cargo airline ! good luck to all the boys

dogsnob 5th Feb 2002 19:31

what i want to know is how can our illustrious leader spend 2 grand on a new chair for his office and tell everyone theyre skint plus announce therye getting two new aeroplanes. .more lies as usuall seems were beteroff without it

rentaghost 5th Feb 2002 22:28

I think you may find that you're flying 'pax' out of MAN over the next few weekends, so that should generate some money!!!

dogsnob 5th Feb 2002 23:18

If you think that flying Pax out of Manchester for a few weekends will save our jobs or bring the company back on to a sound finacial basis I strongly recomend you hand your notice in and join the ranks of the ex Heavylift employees with the rest of us- its time HLA got real insted of living on past achievments

Xyster 12th Feb 2002 00:40

Just to give the pot a stir on this topic; heard on a recent trip that the management intends dumping one of the freighters, probably AA. Anyone know for certain or is this more disinformation from the fun factory. <img src="eek.gif" border="0">
