"Heart attack" on BA jets.
Today's Daily Telegraph throws some light on why the ethnic tails will be soon be gone. Apparently, the one depicting Chinese calligraphy is part of a tea ceremony poem. Normally, one of the characters reads "happiness", but according to cabin staff from Singapore and Hong Kong, it reads "heart attack" when the rudder is at full deflection!

There was the other oriental tail (black letters on white I think), which if you squinted at it said 'SEX'. (Well, with a bit of imagination!)

And didnt the tartan one have problems in the US South?
