WR A/C involved in a near mid-air collision
--
WR in title = SWR -- 11:00 in post = 23:00 -- Hi, I have been reading these boards for a while and just got this bit of news this morning and would appreciate anything further on it: I got information that a Swissair A/C, presumeably an MD-11 operating from a South American destination (if the SR TT is to be believed, flight 0147 from GIG via GRU) was involved a near mid-air collision in the vicinty of Las Palmas yesterday (Wednesday) morning at around 02:00GMT (11:00 Brazilian time) I got this from a reliable source and I would appreciate any further information. Cisco Kid, thanks, yes, ok it may happen every day in some part of the world but it certainly doesn't happen every day so SWR.
Big Red ' L ', no I am no journalist, I work at Unique-ZRH, but I do take a keen interest in SR incidents. I was simply hoping for a few more details (especially other a/c involved) not getting much more from my current sources. Unique-ZRH |
