Air Astana Fokker 50 incident
Does anybody have any details of an alledged take off incident involving one of Air Astana's Fokker 50's.
We get to fly Air Astana a lot where I work .............. |
Hi LowNSlow,
In Kazahkstan every return to stand after entering the runway is an "incident", local aviation ministry guy is a dead ringer for "Blakey" (On the Buses). Air Astana are part owned by BAE and well run, worry not. DVD, PTC |
LowNSlow,
The aircraft in question showed warning indications on one engine which was shut down as a precaution, a/c returned for a safe landing. Naturally, the local press have been to the Sun/Mirror school of reporting and blew it all out of proportion. |

Golly, I didn't realise the words "BA Cradle Seat" were so offensive....

My previous post seems to have disappeared so I'll just repeat this bit.
Thanks for the info and reassurances all. |
