The CAA has just published LASORS 2004

The LAS section is intended to bring together "in one easily understandable book" all Flight Crew Licensing information otherwise found in JAR-FCL, the UK ANO, AICs and the old CAPs 53/54.

NB: Regulations and procedures change between the annual publishing of LASORS. Updates are notified by AICs and published on the CAA website.

It's a large file (4.9mb). You may wish to 'right-click' the link and select 'save target as...' to save the file to your computer, particularly if you're using a dial-up connection.

Yup, downloaded mine as soon as the CAA e-mail notifier came in an hour or so ago. But I'll still need a paper version for all the queries I get 'in the field'! Just as well that it's now out as my 2003 edition has as many pages falling out as I have hairs doing something similar!

Shall bookmark the link for those who seem incapable of navigating the CAA website...

Now then, everyone say after me:

THANK YOU, CAA!! WE LOVE YOU REALLY!

Cheaper than last year, too.

What happened there then????

THANK YOU, CAA!! WE LOVE YOU REALLY!

Do we?

I right clicked on the link but after about 20 mins of downloading, the file once opened came out in jibberish!

Any way I can get to read it in the Queens English?!

It's a 'pdf' file. Have you got Adobe Acrobat on your computer?
If not, you can download it (free) here: Adobe Acrobat
Once installed, it works automatically whenever you download a pdf file.

Otherwise, it's available from the CAA. I assume there's a charge. You don't get much for nothing from the CAA. :D

All sorted - did have the reader - just wasn't booting itslef up, so just booted the reader first, then opened LASORS from there.

Thanks

Pleased you're up and running.

For future reference, the link is a useful source of free software - not just Adobe Acrobat.
