To lose or not too loose!
That's it....enough is enough!. .When you misplace something you "lose" it.. .When a contract is not renewed, you can be said to "lose" it etc. etc. Note lose only has one bleedin' "o".. .If you slacken your neck tie, it becomes "loose", you may even become of "loose" morals. Note lose has two bleedin' "o"s.. .Sorry to throw my toys out of the pram , but I could not help it!. .To those of you who's first language is not English, carry on regardless. Other offenders take note.. .DD
Ps Posted in R&N because it's clearly news to some.. .PPs There are two "e"s in Bleedin' [ 22 January 2002: Message edited by: Dogs Danglies ]
|

OK, OK! That's enough. Whilst I appreciate someone trying to educate the masses on what I believe is the most mis-spelled word on PPRuNe you will find it a futile attempt and using this forum is a no no.
