Lightbulb Hi-Jackers demands: To Comply or Not to Comply - that is the question.

In light of current events and the methods hijackers are now prepared to use the airlines need to amend their procedures in dealing with hijackers on board.

Our current procedures as many of you are aware - is to comply fully with any hijackers demands - this until now has proved effective in getting an aircraft safely on the ground and finding closing solutions.

Now the rules of engagement have changed and we will never be able to erase the images of effectively a "guided missile" making it's target. Flight crews must now surely not be instructed to comply with hijacking fanatics, and giving them the opportunity to control a "flying bomb" to their intended target.
