Ukraine Airpace

Given what hapenned to MH17, has anyone had any guidance about overflights of this area recently? Presumably those with the responsibility for airspace may wait until the baloon goes up?

PPRuNe is not the right place to ask that question and i WOULD NOT not follow someone else advice here either , watch the NOTAMs, Eurocontrol Network Manager advice ,but even that did not help MH17. On that day only Airlines with good connections with their Government intelligence services got good advice and re-routed their flights around Ukraine .
