Airport is not actually evacuated, in fact quite the opposite pax only allowed to leave in small numbers.Arrivals area packed.
As I drove home I was still encountering people walking with luggage up to five miles from the terminal, total traffic chaos on all the approach roads.
As usual the Airport seem too have everything in some sort of order and for the most part the pax seem to be well informed and taken care of.
Not very convenient however for the very sick who arrived from LDE.

I got stuck there for three hours before I could depart with GOE 748, fortunately with almost all the 120 pax, just before we ran out of hours, but I did hear from our despatcher that at least one EZY flight departed (empty!) without waiting for pax.

I actually heard an EZY captain say " Right we are going " for almost one hour ... but he didn't.
Instead he waited until most of the 88+ pax not yet checked in got the flight to LPL in extreme circumstances
