You are right on that Telsboy, the longer the shutdown lasts the more businesses are going to go to the wall and we need to find workable solutions as soon as possible. In the last few days Germanwings, Thomas Cook Aviation and LGW in Germany have called in the administrators or announced they are closing, further afield Air Mauritius and SAA are just a few of those similarly effected.

I saw this on Runway Girl’s website yesterday. If 1B coughs or sneezes, what protects passengers sat in 2A and 2C from the spray? Unless the material has some inherent capability to self-sterilise don’t the screens become virus catchers and will need strict cleaning processes before each flight?

I salute any company trying to find solutions to get air travel back to a level of normality as soon as possible, I’m just not convinced this provides any additional health benefit and just adds weight to the aircraft.

Aye, that it is. I rather like the Port row in the 340 as you get to sit all on your own!

As for that article; load of keech. Clickbait nonsense. Can't see at all how it would be any use. Not forgetting the obvious evac problems of pax facing in two different directions. One for the dustbin of pish ideas...
