However, IMO the current livery is more of the "toothpaste tube" variety and I think the older one is much classier.

I've operated that 319 many times, Fin 264, C-FZUH. I uploaded a picture, I took of same aircraft to Wikipedia.

I was just back in blighty on a rare sunny Sunday driving on the M25 when the BOAC livery 747 took off to the West low over the road. I must admit it looked very smart and made me quite nostalgic. A rare PR hit for BA!

Imperial Airways would be nice - bit bland but cheap though - just bare metal and a speed bird logo

Concerning the BOAC 744 , I saw a pic of her with a white nose ( white Radom) , I feel very upset about that .
