BHX Closed due Norwegian B738 emergency
Sounded quite serious, B738 appeared to be in the cruise KEF-MAD around the Isle of Man and diverted to BHX.
Rumours on another forum flaps problem (Flaps 15?) and landed fast, hydraulic fluid on the runway and a few tyres burst. Coaches out to the aircraft to recover the pax and the aircraft remains on the runway.
BHX still closed (14.45) for over 45 minutes thus far with East Mids taking around 8-10 diversions.
152 pax and crew safe per the alert on the BHX website but runway remains closed
