Sadly probably the usual confusion/conflicting info, another fairly credible source is claiming it was Spanish.... :

Sad news, possibly the first flight of this particular aircraft I hear. If so would it be normal/wise to have more than minimal necessary POB?

"We confirm that there has been an accident with an A400M in Sevilla. At this point, we can confirm that the aircraft is MSN23, an aircraft foreseen for the Turkish customer. The crisis room is open. A Go-Team is on its way to Sevilla. We are coordinating with the relevant authorities. We will come back in due time with any confirmed information as soon as available."

Two of the plane's occupants were rushed to hospital after the crash with their conditions being described as 'very serious.'
One, a 49-year-old, suffered stomach injuries and another head injuries, burns and several fractures.
Local reports said the aircraft hit an overhead power line after trying to make an emergency landing following a mid-air mechanical problem which was reported to air traffic controllers.

Whatever happened (and I obviously have no idea or information at this stage) muss have been pretty dramatic. Anyone with concrete information about the exact nature of this flight? Was there any specific test to be performed?
