Go Profits Soar

Go announced profits of £17 Million today. Thats up 300 per cent from 2001. Passenger numbers rose 55%.

Go has given bonus to staff. A employee who has been with the company two years can expect around £2,000 pounds.

No doubt Go would be a very lucrative company to who buy's it.

''No doubt Go would be a very lucrative company to who buy's it.''

Only if they keep things as is......17 mil. profit from approx. turnover of 225 mil. is a good return when compared to Easy's
1 mil. from 194 mil. turnover in 6 mths.

Maybe Easy should convert to GO's branding and structure.............
.............................now we're talking!!!!!

It would appear that on the back of this announcement that the take over process has been slowed somewhat, no announcement will be made today or this week as previously suggested. I detected a glimmer of optimism from a few words of Barbara this lunchtime. Might our happy company be saved!!!!?

Good for Go! That's a remarkable effort. Perhaps 3i selling them down the orange brick road is a little shortsighted. C'mon 3i wake up and push for an IPO, and save Go.

Wishful thinking I'm sure but i'm afraid these figures will have come as no suprise to 3i ( or Babs ) so the chances of a reversal are very small.
