An-124 Ruslan hit Yak-42 at taxi at Kazan





Volga-Dnepr cargo An-124-100 hit standing at apron Yak-42 with wingtail while taxiing to parking slot.

Thank goodness the wing wasn't 18" lower or the flight deck 18" higher. We have seen the result, if I'm not mistaken, with a Shorts Skyvan.

Similar thing happened at Luton many years ago - wing of a Courtline BAC1-11 on take-off roll went through cockpit of a Piper Aztec - ouch!

taxy collision

Send the crew to an eye doctor...........must be cataracts ! They make you see things different, such as another aircraft in your path !!!!!!!!!!!!!
