Cool

...It doesn't matter how long your duty day is, or how many hours you spend thinking or working; Your brain will only give you six hours per day.

the rosting youve copped here so far is genuinly deserved each responce is very true if u dont understand why the pilot did a go around ask politely and be politrely told. u just stuck your face in the fire and got burnt.

when a pilot does a mised approach it comes down to his own judgement. lableing them culpretes clearly shows you have no idea what validates a missed approach. if there is ne doubt in the pilots mind he should comunicate it to the FO or vice versa this is good CRM. if they both feel insecure then the decision is already made.
dont be afraid to go around it just might be your lucky day.

As SLF- I expect the cockpit crew to go around if the want or need to. Isn't one of the oldest adages in flying," the key to a good landing is a good approach"? No doubt it's more difficult in bad weather.

All I ask is a quick update- I've had them on the few missed approaches I've experienced.

Fly safe-everybody!

Has the be a wind up
I can't believe soooo many of y'all have responded so angrily to this thread....can't y'all see a wind up for what it is?????
If not then too bad for all y'alls sense of humour....after all this is the "RUMOURS" page....how many times have wind ups appeared on the pages......
If you can't see someone pulling your leg then i suggest you take a chill pill and count to 100000000000........maybe then you will realise that it's just someone having the creac with Paddy airlines......
