Post BA's Gatwick Slots

If BA relinquish routes out of LGW does this mean that the slots used by those routes become avaliable to other operators?

Good point. BA's attitude was always that if Laker, Air Europe, Dan Air etc couldn't make a success of the routes then they should go to Big Airways.

They can't be made to give them back but there is no reason why they can't be allocated to surviving companies such as British Midland and Easyjet.
