Thumbs up bmi Operates first MAN-IAD / CPH-EWR

bmi British Midland A330-200 G-WWBM departed Manchester 3 minutes early today on their first Washington scheduled service. Carrying a payload of over 170 pax the flight was followed in the afternoon by the first CPH-EWR flight utilising G-WWBD on damp lease to SAS. The airline has also been granted 180 minute ETOPS, prior to the start of these services.
