Your landing times are.....
Take a look at this video....

Who speaks Russian and can translate what is being said? To me it looks like the elevator was stuck, and this was the best they could do.

"To me it looks like the elevator was stuck, and this was the best they could do."
To me it looks like he approached too fast, flared too late and rather than go around and try again decided to try and test the strength of the nosewheel!
Bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy
Strong undercarriage or what?!
PS: But then what would I know. I'm just a newbie PPL

That's some flare for a stuck elevator - look closely towards the end (the last two bounces) - the elevators aren't stuck.
Classic porpoising! I have to admit to being in stiches of laughter when I played it at first - sorry everyone
the 'shadow' gives a general explanation, for anyone who might want it, at http://www.pprune.org/forums/showpos...&postcount=124

Translation courtesy Mrs WHBM (who doesn't really know aviation terms)
On approach: "65 [presumably the callsign of the aircraft], watch speed, watch rate of descent, align [to the runway ?], align more"
When the porpoising starts: "Hold it level.....hold it level.....HOLD IT LEVEL..."
When stopped: "OK, taxi back ......... no, shut it down".
Presumably the voice is from the ground, not an instructor on the aircraft.

If you want to know how strong the front Gear of Russian a/c are look here :

Ut Sementem Feeceris
Looks to me like the gear finally gave up (on the first video clip) judging by the amount of "dust" coming from the front.........
Funny how you can find yourself shouting GO AROUND at a computer screen!

from the comments on avsim.ru where the video was originally posted:
military flight school, 2 students on their 2nd solo
No injures but A/C written off (nosegear went through the floor, other damage)
left-seat student expelled, the other is to repeat a term

I've only made a few posts so I don't feel the need to order a Personal Title and help support PPRuNe

More likely the Russian website suffers from the same problem as Pprune with amateurs speculating about tings they know nothing about! Tell me it isn't true.

Anyway, they seemed to have it almost under control at their third "landing" but they kept the power up?!
Keeping on the landings thread... how about this one.

Brings back memories of a certain asian airport, 'innit'.

Love it! RDL, I'd guess that he deliberately went thru the CL just to create that little extra spacing to avoid a GA because of the deprature in front (which you get a glimpse of). Great bit of real flying.

All horrendous examples of airmanship
I've flown the let410..and its a SIMPLE and forgiving aircraft.....I dunno about the IL76, but the guys in the Delta 737 outta be ashamed of themselves for that effort....its not hard to look out the window, and match it with the noodle (trend vector)....even allowing for a bit of mapshift..

Oh come on! Please tell me the Russians aren't that stupid. Who on earth puts two student/trainee pilots in BOTH seats on a multi crew transport aircraft and then sends them solo?
More photo/video from the same school (no crashes this time):
