That's the problem of typing before I go down the pub
What I meant was, that we do have a big problem with drink driving causing LOTS of fatalities and injuries, each year.
I fully accept that the potential for a catastrophic alcohol induced accident is there, but statistically it is not, at the moment, a problem. Long may it remain so.
However people shooting off at the lip, seemingly happy to jump on to a bandwagon of "must be guilty", arrest without proof, and media hysteria with trial by internet do not help.
