As of 16:10 local time no flights have departed BEG and the mechanics are in the office of the director of the airline demanding his resignation. The mechanics have been on a one hour strike for the last week or so, but have agreed to not strike for the next 30 days just a couple of days ago. The issue is the disparity pay between the mechanics and the pilots.
