Last updated: 26-06-04, 15:29

A London-bound Ryanair flight made an emergency landing after leaving Rome this morning.

The plane departed again some hours later after mechanical problems were resolved, airport authorities said.

Four of the 135 passengers decided not to continue with the flight from Rome's Ciampino airport.

No one was injured in the incident.
