Interesting article on the wire that Qantas (JetStar) may still be looking at retaining the 717 fleet.

Guess you can't just remove a 717 each time an A320 is delivered as you end up with the same number of aircraft (just more seats).
But again it's a backflap and goes away from the one-fleet type for LCC's.
But wait, if it eventually takes over more of the QF domestic operations excluding CityFlyer it makes perfect sense.
QF currently uses the mix on the leisure market e.e. OOL each day sees 767's, 737's & a 717.
