IL-76 goes off rwy at EBOS

Talking IL-76 goes off rwy at EBOS

Last night a IL-76 rejected it's take-off on rwy 26 at EBOS (rumour has it past Vr).The a/c came to a halt near the end fence.Crew evacuated the aircraft and no injuries reported so far.The a/c sustained severe damage including a snapped off wing .More news during the day .

Ukrainian Il-76 from South Airlines. Ended up in the ditch with its nosewheel broken apparently, nothing from EBOS about wing damage though.

It appears the aircraft was UR-78821, flown by operator Dart (never heard of it)...

Damage does not look too serious.Check foto at
