PLH out of business?

I'm told PLH has gone belly-up. Anyone know more?
This was the outfit that advertised its services to those who were 'confused' about helicopter training. Funny way to make a living, but they managed to keep going for several years. Some commercial pilots I know who started with them spoke highly of them.
One ab initio chappie seems to have been in to them for about £16,000, which he has little chance of seeing again.
Remember, kids... never give anybody money up front, ever.

Well their website is definitely out of commission as it doesn't appear to exist anymore!

I don't have any recent knowledge of PLH, but their particular business niche revolved around the old UK "hours building" route to helicopter pilot employment. Since that (effectively) no longer exists (courtesy of our wonderful regulators) and the number of new starts is probably reduced due to the extra costs of JAR-FCL I can see how they might have fallen by the wayside ................

I just hope not too many individuals got their fingers burnt!
