Treasure Hunt, BBC2 Good Friday

Anyone else catch this programme (in the UK) ?

Apart from watching Suzy Perry's lithe bottom for 45 minutes, was that silver-haired gent with the Union Jack patch on his left arm really you, John ?

Lovely views of Melbourne, by the way.

Yup, I watched - I even occasionally looked at the pilot...

I even noticed there were no trees around.

Distracting shape that girl, gets in the way of the helis.

Whoops, and I forgot to tell your dad's mate Norman it was on tonight!

Definitely distracted.

twenty years ago treasure hunt

Showed that the airborne camera gives a new perspective.
Now the BK117 was in capable hands.
Try doing that over the European cities.
Nimby.Not In My Back Yard
The helicopter is an Explorer.
Some times we don't use it.

With good narration and diction. That programme could have been two hours in length.
Unless the viewer has the brain power, or the advertisers make money. It won't have the impact it deserves. I respect what was achieved.
Lady G Lady G. Don't ever dumb down, aim for better.

and for the BBC-impoverished in USA?

Sounds intriguing, now how do those of us in the Land of TV Game Shows and Intellectual Poverty get to see the program or read the plot? Shall I move to OZ? (I was about ready to do that anyway to escape USA TV . . .)

Will it be broadcast in Iraq?

John Eacott 19th April 2003 07:07

I shall look forward to seeing the tape, when/if they send it to me! Re the NIMBY comment, we are very lucky in Melbourne to have both a cooperative CASA, and a reasonable number of councils who don't see the sky falling whenever we ask to land somewhere. Sydney, unfortunately, is a total loss for heli ops.

PA News, I should have thought to contact Norm!

Another shot of the better contributors to the programme ;)

I remember the old Treasure Hunt, and was always surprised that Aneka Rice didn't need a SeaKing ... :D

I thought I was in love on Friday....now I know I'm in love. WOW. 'nuff said.

T_richard 24th April 2003 01:19

Damm what I wouldn't give to pull that zipper down about nine inches. Do someone get paid to fly with this beautiful creature. I'll do it for free, how about I pay her:O :O

Do alot of Aussie pilots look like her?

PANews 24th April 2003 06:54

Tut tut.... what do you mean old chap.....

She was not the pilot she was the distration .... the presenter ... the pilot has white hair and a beard .... unfortunately I think all Aussie pilots look like that!

It looks like you need to import 'Treasure Hunt' Stateside.... a bit of harmless fun .... well except for the blood pressure of course...

T_richard 25th April 2003 09:29

Damm I was going to go to Aussie and ask her to teach me to fly.

Harry Peacock 28th April 2003 14:01

Looks like you had two lovely little movers airborne at the same time!!!
