Jet fuel trailer - bowser
Hi folks,
Looking for a reliable manufacturer for a jet fuel trailer either in Europe or North America. Small capacity approx. 1000 L / 250 USG Thanks for any valuable input |
|
We had one of these

In Poland, 'www.en-tank.eu’

Chieftain. Northern Ireland.
Fuel bowser |
Be careful of the Chieftain bowsers, they’re flat bottomed, no sump and no sampling point. Fuelproof are ok, expensive, and the wheel axles are a little weak. Would be good if there were other options 🤔

thank you all for the information provided :ok:
|
Don’t buy Chieftain. More leaks than Wales.

Probably a little on the small side for you, but check out the Smart Ass Fuel Mule. Self powered, motorized, fuel caddy that carries it's own weight.....
|
We use a couple of these for Avgas, suitable for Jet A1 as well

Not being sure what size/type aircraft you fly, what size is needed to be useful? I could see a small ag plane or private single engine setup being good with 50gallons, the kind of planes you'd commonly find in a fly-in community/airpark -- but I'm sure many of you would need bigger. |
Speaking of that... check this out!! https://generalaviationnews.com/2024...ging-gas-cans/
Website for the product in their announcement is here: https://smartassproducts.net/collections https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....01620121d4.jpg |
JOKE
Ah the good old Daze! Life was simpler then. What ever happened to 45 imp Gal / 55 USG / 295 Litre drums and a pump with filter. Stand barrels up with a 2x4 at 12 o'clock and the bungs at 9 and 3. Let stand for 24 hours. Open bungs, check for water and contaminates. Pump fuel. Return barrels for deposit refund. pick up more barrels. Order enough and the oil company would deliver them. JOKE OVER. |
