Currently meeting South of Baltimore, Ireland after QM2 diverted from track on route NY

Probably all gone now.

QM2 still doing 13 kts on heading of 333 2 mins ago, so it is likely the chopper is still around. Normal heading would be more Westerly and not standing into Southern Ireland. (45 kt gale on the Bow)

(QM2 is normally doing around 20 kts on this route).

Chopper is outbound now, its a long way home. QM2 course resumed.

I did a similar job with QM2 several years ago about 100nm SW of the Scillies. We also had to turn them round to get a favourable winching configuration.
